Safe by design, not by disclaimer

Automation is powerful. So every flow in AutoFlow runs inside the same guardrails, explains its risks up front and stops the moment you say so.

Guardrails

Enforced on every flow, on every platform:

  • Maximum run time, input count and loop count
  • Start countdown, cooldown and duplicate-run protection
  • Unsupported steps block the run up front — they are never silently skipped
  • A confirmation when screen resolution or scaling has changed
  • Explicit approval before risky steps

Safety Score

A static analysis gives each flow a 0–100 risk score, a low, medium or high grade, the reasons in plain words and the permissions it needs. You see the same score on Atlas cards, on share links and right before a run.

  • Recognises sensitive steps such as HTTP, files, app launches and clipboard access
  • Imported flows are hash-checked and re-scored, so a link cannot smuggle anything in
  • AI drafts pass the same checks as everything else

Halt

Ctrl+Alt+Esc on Windows and a floating stop button on Android stop any flow in under 500 ms. Long waits are sliced into 100 ms steps so nothing can hold the brake.

Privacy model

Local-first means your flows, recordings and logs live on your device. When you choose to sync, they are encrypted on the device first — our server only ever stores ciphertext.

  • No ads, no tracking cookies, no sale of data
  • Account is optional: just an email and a password hash
  • AI keys are stored encrypted on your device and sent only to the provider you picked

What AutoFlow will never do

  • Solve or bypass CAPTCHAs, identity checks or payment confirmations
  • Defeat or evade anti-cheat systems
  • Operate system security screens such as permission or password prompts
  • Run hidden in the background — Pulse or the floating button is always visible
  • Create accounts automatically or send spam
  • Let AI perform consequential actions without your approval
  • Randomise timing to disguise automation — jitter exists for testing and accessibility and is always shown
Automate your own work, respect the rules of the apps and games you use, and test new flows on Practice Canvas first.
